1. Who is "SharedVue"?
   SharedVue is a CloudMarketing company that provides content syndication and other tools to leading enterprises to empower partners to market more effectively and increase sales.
   
   The VMware Website-in-a-Box and Event-in-a-Box programs are using the SharedVue cloud marketing platform.
2. Who can use Website-in-a-Box & Event-in-a-Box?
   The program is available to all VMware partners.
3. How much does the Website-in-a-Box & Event-in-a-Box programs cost?
   The programs are free.
4. How long does it take to implement?
   A partner can sign-up via this website and will be immediately enrolled in the program. The implementation process is very straightforward for the partner's webmaster. It typically takes only a few minutes to setup. They will simply copy-and-paste a piece of code onto a page of the partner's website.
5. Does the program work on a static HTML site (without any server-side technology available)?
   Yes, there is an IFRAME solution available which provides the same metrics and customization as the server-side implementations. However, the IFRAME implementation relies on the visitors web browser so we always encourage partners to try the server-side version so the syndicated content truly is embedded within their website.
   
   Most static HTML web hosts also have PHP available.
6. Does Website-in-a-Box work within a Content Management System (CMS)?
   Yes, the code can work within the vast majority of CMS tools. Most (PHPNuke, DotNetNuke, etc) will allow the server-side implementation. However, this may take more time for the partner webmaster to implement. Some CMS tools are very restrictive and may only allow the IFRAME implementation to work. Finally, if a CMS tool will not allow any implementation we can assist the partner in using a popup-window to access the VMware content.
7. If my business doesn't have a website, can I still use Website-in-a-Box & Event-in-a-Box?
   Yes. If you don't have a website, your website is in a state of transition, or you simply don't want to put Website-in-a-Box on your existing website, SharedVue can give you a URL with your branding and VMware's syndicated content. You can link to this URL, yourcompany.vmwareshowcase.com, and still get all the benefits of both programs.
8. What aspects can be customized/configured by the partner?
   Through the Partner Console a partner can customize/configure:

   • The overview page which best aligns with the partner's core message
   • A customized "Welcome Message" that will be added to the overview page
   • The languages in which the Website-in-a-box content will be available for viewing
9. Is the partner linking to content on another site?
   No, the VMware content is embedded into a page on the partner's website. This ensures that visitors to the site interested in VMware solutions can request more details, download additional information and learn more about the partner - all without leaving their site.
